Rajesh Krishnamurthy

Dr. Rajesh Krishnamurthy is Professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University, and Director for Cardiovascular Imaging at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. He is an expert on non-invasive imaging of vascular diseases in children using ultrasound, CT and MRI. As the previous Director for Imaging Research at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX from 2010-2016, and radiologist in chief and director of the Pediatric Advanced Imaging Resource (PAIR) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital from 2016-2021, he crafted a patient-centric vision for pediatric imaging by creating the Children’s Imaging Biomarker Alliance (CIBA), whose goals are to promote standardized imaging approaches and appropriate imaging utilization in children to enhance impact and safety, develop tissue-specific imaging biomarkers and patient-specific solutions in children with inter-disciplinary collaboration, and improve the value of imaging in pediatric disease. He is current board member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology, current chair of pediatric imaging research committee at the ACR, and former chair of the pediatric scientific program committee at the RSNA.
